About Luca Bellanova

Luca Bellanova is a guitarist, composer, producer and teacher, who was born in Apulia, in south Italy, and is currently living in Rome. At the age of 10 he started to playing guitar; during his education he studied classical guitar, modern guitar and jazz guitar. In 2015 he moved to Rome and continues his education in “Saint Louis College of Music”, graduating in Pop Guitar with full marks. He has studied with Robben Ford, Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Guthrie Govan, Allen Hinds, Franco Cerri and others.

In 2017 he lived in Rotterdam, where he improves his studies at “Codarts”. During his career he applied to multiple musical genres, acquiring a complete and personal language. Luca Bellanova has collaborated and performed with artist like Greg Osby, Braxton Cook, Peppe Vessicchio, Tullio de Piscopo, Diodato, Roy Pace, Serena Brancale, Dario Deidda, Charles Burchell, Chelsea Como, Joshua Jack, Oumy N’Diaye and others.

In 2018 he works as guitarist in the TV show “Amici”, on air on Canale 5, Mediaset Italia S.p.a. “EYE” is his debut album released on January 28th 2022, is published by “Inner Circle Music”, a record label based in New York founded by the famous saxophonist Greg Osby. The concept of the album follows the principle of “follow your instinct”: "Being able to reveal our personality is becoming more and more a privilege, with EYE I wanted to express freely my personality, through improvisation and experimentation." Currently he is collaborating with international artists and original projects, doing live concert, recording studio sessions and also teaching guitar.
